Recipe for success in Evoke for Chamber After Hours

Mix Blackwater Distillery No.5 Gin with delicious cocktails from World Wide Wines and add some tasty treats from the Devil’s Menu and you had a recipe for success at Evoke German Kitchens for the Waterford Chamber Business After Hours.

Guests enjoyed the chance to network while also viewing the incredible craftsmanship of the bespoke kitchens in the magnificent showroom at Six Cross Roads.

Speaking at the event, Waterford Chamber Deputy President Kathryn Kiely said: “Evoke German Kitchens is a family business run by father and son Colm and Declan Furlong and it epitomises what is great about local business. Building a great team around you is the key to success and who better to work alongside than your family. Add to that a team of talented designers and craftsmen and you have a winning formula. To Declan, Colm, Sheena and all the team here can we congratulate you and wish you continued success.”

Speaking about what makes Evoke different from the rest, Managing Director of Evoke German Kitchens Declan Furlong said: “We opened our doors here in January 2015 with our core Evoke range and earlier this year we introduced our premium range, ‘Evoke Preference’, both of which are designed by the team here at Evoke and manufactured in our factories in Northern Germany. And today, we’re excited to launch our newest range in the Evoke collection – our Evoke Irish Handcrafted Kitchens, which are designed by ourselves and master-crafted here in County Waterford.”

The evening was made all the more enjoyable for Alastair Liddell of JumpTech Recruitment, a new business in Waterford, as he walked away with a top of the range Nespresso Machine, courtesy of Evoke German Kitchens.

Closing the event, MC for the evening, WLR's Teresanne O’Reilly said: “It has been a pleasure to spend the evening in the gorgeous surroundings of Evoke German Kitchens for another successful Waterford Chamber Business After Hours event. It's great to see so many people come along and get to know the people who are behind business in Waterford."

The next Waterford Chamber Business After Hours takes place in Walsh’s Bakehouse on October 12th.

The city, county and region offers a young, well educated workforce and is easily accessible for international visitors. Waterford’s quality of life for employees is exceptional as it blends elements of rich cultural heritage with a new and vibrant lifestyle – with new additions such as the Greenway further showcasing the county to not only locals, but visitors from all over Ireland and overseas.
