The LCE Certificate in Practical Ergonomics training course starting November 27th here in the LCE Training Academy  is specifically aimed at Ergonomics and Best Practice. This is a unique 5 day course as it is the first of its kind in Ireland. It will give you the know-how and tools to be able to carry out basic ergonomic assessments – this will include:

  • Physical assessments to optimise operator productivity and comfort,


  • Assessments of the cognitive processes involved in human-system interaction and apply standard principles of design for information processing to reduce the potential for human error.

It is for professionals who need to develop their understanding of, and competence in, the practical application of ergonomics in the workplace, from risk assessment to accident investigation. It will cover the following topics:

  • Implementing Improvement Programmes
