PwC Ireland COVID-19 webcast series - Episode 8: Irish Exports


On Wednesday, 27 May, we’re holding the next in our series of “Succeeding in uncertainty” webcasts. In this episode, we will be exploring the importance of exports as a driver for economic recovery and the actions government and business should take now to ensure Irish exporters are ready to rapidly respond as the COVID-19 crisis develops and restrictions start to be relaxed.

PwC Markets & Strategy partner David McGee will be joined by three special guests to share their insights.

  • Simon McKeever, CEO of the Irish Exporters Association, will talk about why exporters are vital to kick-starting the recovery
  • Julie Sinnamon, CEO of Enterprise Ireland will speak about the impact of COVID-19 on exporters and the range of supports available to them
  • Harry Hughes. CEO at Portwest, will share the actions his organisation have taken to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on their business
