The plan for delivering the March course under current COVID-19 restrictions has been modified to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
This approach will limit face to face interaction between Trainer and learners and provide a COVID - 19 safe environment by adhering to the Guidance for Further and Higher Education for returning to on-site activity in 2020 and current advice from the National Public Health Emergency Response Team (NPHET) including the limiting of attendees, physical distancing, face coverings and sanitisation.
The course will be delivered by a combination of on-line ZOOM sessions and an on-line learning platform which includes a security manual.
An essential and critical element of the online training is the support Prosecure will provide to learners during the study period, we will use the most appropriate method that meets the learner needs including e-mail, telephone and zoom.

- Thursday 4th March – 2 hr in classroom
- Tuesday 9th March – 2 hr on-line ZOOM session
- Wednesday 10th March – 2 hr on-line ZOOM session
- Thursday 11th March – 2 hr on-line ZOOM session
- Tuesday 16th March – 2 hr on-line ZOOM session
- Wednesday 17th March – 2 hr on-line ZOOM session
- Thursday 18st March – 2 hr on-line ZOOM session
- Thursday 25th March – 2 hrs in classroom
Successful completion of this comprehensive programme leads to:
- QQI Minor Award in Guarding Skills at Level 4
- Security Institute of Ireland Certificate in Static Security
- Security Institute of Ireland Certificate in Retail Security
