What Our Members Have To Say

“The Waterford Chamber team are excellent ambassadors for Waterford in terms of their ability to lobby and engage with a wide range of third parties in relation to promoting the region outwardly, and in attracting inward investment that helps to sustain and grow the south east region and businesses within the region.”
Michael Flynn / Executive Chairman & CEO, FLI Group

“Waterford Chamber provide an excellent service, training opportunities and support. They have always demonstrated professionalism and are there to offer reliable advice when you need it. We admire how proactive they are with local marketing initiatives and value their local networking events. I recently participated in the Regional Leaders Programme, which I found very beneficial and learned so much from. We are proud to support the Chamber as a selling partner for the Waterford Gift Voucher initiative.”
Ann-Marie Drohan / Marketing & Business Development Officer, Waterford Credit Union

“WLR works very closely with Waterford Chamber and I see first hand how well it represents business and the interests of its members in Waterford. Gerald and the Waterford Chamber Team are effective, innovative and professional in their work but most of all they have a real passion for Waterford to achieve success.”
Des Whelan / Managing Director, WLR

“As members of Waterford Chamber for over three decades, Dooley’s Hotel has long experienced the support and vision of the Chamber. However, it was during the Covid-19 crisis that the Chamber showed how proactive it could be. The Chamber was quick to move online and keep its members connected virtually. When many businesses and business owners could have felt isolated, the Chamber provided a forum that kept its members in touch and allowed them to share their experiences and learn from the experiences of others.”
Tina Darrer / Owner, Dooley's Hotel

“We find Waterford Chamber an invaluable resource. From their messaging through email marketing and the Chamber website, to supports, events and networking, they are always there for us when we need them.”
Mike Conway / Marketing Executive, OfficeMaster

“Tom Murphy Car Sales Ltd has been a member of Waterford Chamber of Commerce for over 25 years. It’s a membership that serves us well as we find it gives us a platform to interact with similar businesses and puts us in front of a wide audience. Having staged a number of very successful Chamber events, both at our dealership on the Cork Road and at venues chosen by the Chamber, it really puts into perspective the value of networking and meeting with potential customers face to face. We intend to continue the partnership between Waterford Chamber of Commerce and Tom Murphy Car Sales into the future, as the results speak for themselves and we see the value in being a member of Waterford Chamber.”

"Both Waterford Chamber and Bausch + Lomb understand the importance of leadership for the achievement of business success. Working with Waterford Chamber on the Regional Leaders Programme demonstrates just how effective it can be to come together and work collaboratively. The Regional Leaders Programme provides an opportunity to share our talents and expertise with the motivation to really ‘make things happen’."

Jackie Roche / Learning + Organisational Development Manager, Bausch + Lomb

"Waterford is a very attractive location for Foreign Direct Investment as it is a dynamic city which is very much open for business – the city has a proven track record of attracting investment from start-ups and expanding business, who are hugely supported by Waterford Chamber. The city, county and region offers a young, well educated workforce and is easily accessible for international visitors. Waterford’s quality of life for employees is exceptional as it blends elements of rich cultural heritage with a new and vibrant lifestyle – with new additions such as the Greenway further showcasing the county to not only locals, but visitors from all over Ireland and overseas. The Chamber has been a vital link in welcoming our companies into the local Business Community – helping them not only network, but also gain a sense of community and belonging."
